Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of grabdit.app and related pages (the “Service”). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. Questions? Reach us via our contact page.

What GrabDit does

Shows download options for a single public Reddit post’s media (videos, images/photos, GIFs). Audio appears only if Reddit provides a single combined track.

Honest limits

No video+audio merging, no ZIP/bulk downloads, no private/paywalled or removed content. We do not host downloads permanently.

Your responsibility

Use GrabDit only where you have the right to do so (e.g., your own posts or licensed content). Respect Reddit’s terms and copyright law.

1) Service Description & Scope

The Service processes a Reddit post URL you provide to surface available media for that specific post (e.g., video, image/photo, GIF). Availability (including quality and audio) depends entirely on what Reddit makes publicly accessible for that post.

We design the Service to be simple: no account is required, and we do not permanently host your downloads. Some transient caching may occur for performance and expires automatically.

2) Eligibility & Acceptance

You must be able to form a binding contract and meet any age requirements in your jurisdiction (the Service is not directed to children under 13 or the age set by local law). By using the Service, you accept these Terms.

3) Feature Limits & Fair Use

  • Supported: Reddit videos, single images/photos, and GIFs. If Reddit supplies one combined audio track with a video, we surface it. If Reddit delivers video and audio separately, we do not merge them.
  • Not supported: ZIP gallery bundling, bulk downloads, automatic scraping, private/paywalled/removed content, login-gated content, or any attempt to circumvent technical protections.
  • One-by-one: If a post contains multiple items (e.g., images/GIFs), items are listed individually so you can download them one at a time.
  • Fair use: Excessive automated requests, rate-bypassing, or activities that degrade stability/security are prohibited.

4) Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service to violate copyright, privacy, or other legal rights
  • Access private, paywalled, geo-blocked, or removed content, or bypass technical protections
  • Reverse engineer, interfere with, or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure
  • Use bots, scrapers, or automation without prior written permission
  • Upload or transmit malware, spam, or harmful code

5) Your Responsibilities & Rights to Content

You must have the necessary rights to download and use any content accessed via the Service. You are solely responsible for how you use downloaded material and for complying with Reddit’s terms and applicable laws (e.g., copyright).

You understand that the Service processes URLs and returns links/options; it does not grant you any rights to third-party content.

6) No Affiliation with Reddit

GrabDit is an independent tool and is not affiliated with, endorsed, or sponsored by Reddit. “Reddit” is a registered trademark of Reddit, Inc.

7) Intellectual Property

The Service (including its design, branding, text, code, and assets) is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by applicable laws. Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use the Service for lawful, personal purposes.

Except as permitted by law or these Terms, you may not copy, modify, distribute, host, or create derivative works of the Service without our prior written permission.

8) Advertising

The Service may display advertising (e.g., via Google AdSense) to remain free. We do not endorse third-party products or services advertised. Your interactions with advertisers are solely between you and the advertiser. See our Privacy Policy for how ads and cookies are handled.

9) Service Changes & Availability

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time without liability. We strive for reliability, but the Service may be unavailable due to maintenance, updates, failures, or events beyond our control.

10) Disclaimers

“AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE.” The Service is provided without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to fitness for a particular purpose, merchantability, and non-infringement.

Media availability, quality, and audio are determined by Reddit’s systems for the specific post you submit. We do not guarantee that any item will be retrievable, of a certain quality, or remain available.

11) Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we and our affiliates, directors, employees, and agents are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from or related to your use of the Service.

Our total liability for any claim arising from the Service will not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid us for the Service in the 12 months before the claim (typically ₹0 for free use) or (b) INR ₹1,000.

12) Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from claims, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your infringement of any rights.

13) Takedown / IP Complaints

If you believe content accessible via the Service infringes your rights, please submit a detailed request via our contact page. Include the original Reddit link(s), a description of your rights, and your contact details. We review valid notices and act as appropriate.

14) Third-Party Links & Services

Links to third-party sites (e.g., reddit.com) are provided for convenience. We are not responsible for those sites or their practices. Your use of third-party services is at your own risk and subject to their terms.

15) Suspension & Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time if we believe you have violated these Terms or pose a risk to the Service, other users, or third parties. Upon termination, your right to use the Service stops immediately.

16) Governing Law & Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflicts of law principles. You agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Odisha, India, for any dispute arising out of or relating to the Service or these Terms.

Before filing a claim, please try to resolve the issue informally via our contact page.

17) Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we update the “Last updated” date above. If you continue to use the Service after changes take effect, you agree to the revised Terms.
